McNeish, Wall win seats on Winfield City Commission; McClung, Sawyer and Thompson top out Winfield BOE
Taggart Wall, with 33.28 percent of votes cast, and incumbent Tom McNeish, with 25.70 percent of votes cast, will join Phil Jarvis to make up the Winfield City Commission, according to unofficial results from the Cowley County Clerk's office.
Gail Sawyer led in the race for Winfield Board of Education, bringing in 25.01 percent of votes cast, according to unofficial results.
Incumbents Julie Thompson, with 24.19 percent of votes cast, and Vic McClung, with 22.87 percent of votes cast, will remain on the board, according to unofficial results.
Kevin Hopkins, who ran unopposed, will continue to serve on the board.
